Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide onsite services in a Virginia public school setting. This role focuses primarily on serving an elementary population with a smaller caseload of high school students, offering a diverse and rewarding experience within the educational system.
Location:
- Purcellville, VA
- Work assignments split between elementary and high school locations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload primarily composed of elementary students, including approximately 10 high school students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
- Experience working as an SLP in educational settings preferred, particularly with school-aged children
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills tailored to student needs
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time contract position
- 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, totaling 35 hours per week
- Contract period from January 5, 2026, through April 2026
